Outperforming 23 Redbone Coonhounds,CCH CH ‘PR’ No Rhyme or Reason, owned by Shane Tipton and handler Jamie Crigger, took King of Show. Queen of Show was awarded to WCH FCH N GR CH GR CH ‘PR’ America’s Virginia Legacy. “Gin” is owned by Dale and Laurie Young and handled by Dale.

NITE CH ‘PR’ Good Nite Jimbob outhunted 74 hounds to become the Overall Hunt Winner. Handled by Chase Royer, “Jimbob” is owned by John Biggert and Jack Lemar.

International Beagle Hare Futurity
July 4-6, 2014
Lebanon, Maine

Pro Plan-fed Beagles demonstrated their strong hunting instincts, stamina and correct conformation to secure top placements at the 38th annual International Beagle Hare Futurity, hosted by the Salmon Falls Beagle Club.

Cryon ET, co-owned by breeders George and Greg Steeves with Clark Steeves, won the female 13-inch class. The Steeves also co-own Cryon Jethro, who took second place in the 13-inch male class.

Rockefellers Blue Demon, bred by Rex Depew and co-owned by Matthew Rockefeller with Beth Cunningham, captured third place in the 15-inch female class. Winning third place in the 15-inch male class was Sabattus Mountain Celo, bred by Tom Cheney and owned by Robert Foster.

In the 15-inch combined champions class, FCLP Rockefellers Little Trixie, bred by Rex Depew and owned by Matthew Rockefeller, took third place. Taking second place in the 13-inch combined champions class was FC Clam Flats Russell The Love Mussel, bred and owned by Arthur Eaton.

PCH Thousand Dollar Bill, a 4-year-old male Treeing Walker Coonhound, was the Open Division Champion at the 2014 PKC Breeders Showcase. “Bill” is owned by Brad Mitchell and handled by Coy Sullivan.

UKC Autumn Oaks

Richmond, Indiana

One of the oldest hounds entered in the 55th annual Autumn Oaks competition, 2X N GRN CH GR NITE CH ‘PR’ House’s Mr. Clean, a 9-year-old male Treeing Walker Coonhound, won the Nite Hunt to become a National Grand Nite Champion for the second time, having won the Purina National Championship in 2012. Bred by Jeff Duvall and Tom Bates, “Clean” is owned by handler Bryan Whitted and Michael Thomas.

Meanwhile, GR CH ‘PR’ Margaritaville Lucky Ole Son, a Black & Tan Coonhound, outperformed 451 hounds to become the National Grand Show Champion. He is owned and handled by Joe Powers.
