Border Collie Society of America (BCSA) National Specialty Sept. 2-6, 2015 Purina Event Center, Gray Summit, Missouri

GCH Majestic Elite Clever Endeavor was named the Top 20 winner at the 2015 BCSA National Specialty. “Slick” was bred by Ronni Delay, who co-owns the 3-year-old dog with Ricki Johnson and Frank Boytis. North Branch Cluster Sept. 4-6, 2015 Bridgewater, New Jersey

Capturing the first two Bests in Show of the cluster, a 3-year-old Saluki bitch called “Pooh” won the Tuxedo Park Kennel Club and Somerset Hills Kennel Club dog shows. Bred by Paula Bockan-Chato and owned by Lyndell Ackerman, GCH Baghdad Eleganza Extravaganza is handled by pro Emma Marshall. Closing out the three-day cluster, GCH Cragsmoor Goodtime Charlie won the Westchester Kennel Club Dog Show. A 4-year-old male Skye Terrier, “Charlie” was bred by Eugene Zaphiris and Matthew Stander. Santa Ana Valley Kennel Club Cluster Sept. 12-13, 2015 Costa Mesa, California

“Nick,” a 4-year-old male Akita, won the first of the Santa Ana Valley Kennel Club’s two dog shows. Handled by pro Alvin “Beep” Lee, GCH Mojo’s Continuation of a Myth is owned by breeders Paul and Stacey Borrmann. Handled by breeder-owner Valerie Nunes-Atkinson, GCH Vjk-Myst Garbonit’a California Journey captured Best in Show at the second Santa Ana Valley Kennel Club Dog Show. The 2-year-old male German Shorthaired Pointer was co-bred by Anita Weiss and Alice Manning, who co-own “CJ” with Yvonne Hassler-Deterding. Three Rivers Kennel Club Cluster Sept. 12-13, 2015 Purina Event Center, Gray Summit, Missouri

Kicking off the two-show cluster at the Purina Event Center, a 3-year-old male Standard Poodle called “Jordan” captured the first Best in Show at the Three Rivers Kennel Club Dog Show. Bred and owned by Linda Campbell, GCH Dawin Reigate Fire Away is co-owned by Suzanne Loblaw. Presented by pro handler Sarah Perchick, the current No. 1 Standard Poodle in the country is fueled by Purina® Pro Plan® SPORT Performance 30/20 Chicken & Rice Formula.

Bred and owned by Darrell and Sheri Smith, GCH Foxtail’s Race for the Chase won the second Three Rivers Kennel Club Dog Show. The 15-inch Beagle called “JJ” is handled by pro Mike Kurtzner. The 3-year-old male is powered by Purina® Pro Plan® SPORT Performance 30/20 Chicken & Rice Formula.

National Beagle Club (NBC) National Specialty Sept. 14-15, 2015 Purina Event Center, Gray Summit, Missouri

Handled to Best of Breed by breeder-owner Marcelo Chagas, a 2-year-old 15-inch Beagle bitch called “Victoria” won the NBC National Specialty. Co-bred by Marco Flavio, Alessandra Botelho and Roger Travis, the team co-owns GCH Turquay Midnight Victory with Fernando Pelaez. Gateway Fall Cluster Sept. 18-20, 2015 Gray Summit, Missouri

By winning the Rolla Missouri Kennel Club Dog Show, an Otterhound called “Patron” become the first Otterhound to capture an all-breed Best in Show in 2015. GCH Aberdeen’s Ultimate Addiction is handled by Jason McIlwaine, who co-bred the 6-year-old dog with Andrea and Jack McIlwaine. They co-own the dog with John Mullen and Debbie Blunt. A Brussels Griffon called “Penny” won the last two shows of the cluster. Bred by Rodney and Linda Vance, GCH Fist Face A Penny For Your Thought captured Bests in Show at the Spirit of the Heartland Kennel Club and Jefferson County Kennel Club of Missouri dog shows. Co-owned by Larry and Carol Pagacz with Kelly Catterson, the current No. 6 Toy dog in the country is handled by Paul Catterson. Wine County Circuit Sept. 24-27, 2015 Romulus, New Jersey

GCH Hillwood Dassin Ouspenskaya took Best in Show at the Finger Lake Kennel Club Dog Show. Outperforming more than 1,200 dogs, the Standard Poodle was handled by breeder-owner Joseph Vergnetti. Co-bred and co-owned by Ellen Charles, the 2 ½-year-old bitch is powered by Purina® Pro Plan® SPORT Performance 30/20 Chicken & Rice Formula.

On the second day of the circuit, GCH Foxcliffe Chelsea Piers won the Emlira Kennel Club Dog Show. Outperforming more than 1,600 dogs, a 7-year-old Puli named “Fringe” captured Best in Show at the Onondaga Kennel Club Dog Show. GCH Chase Farm Midnight Rambler completed the Pro Plan¬-powered dog sweep of the circuit by winning the Kanadasga Kennel Club Dog Show. Doberman Pinscher Club of America (DPCA) National Specialty Sept. 26 - Oct.1, 2015 Lancaster, Pennsylvania

For the second consecutive year, GCH Dezperado’s Hallelujah, CA, CGC, captured Best of Breed at the DPCA National Specialty. Bred and owned by Hillary Zimmerman, “Glory” is co-owned by Jacqueline and Alan Wendt. Handled by co-breeder Linda George, the 3 ½-year-old bitch is the current No. 8 Working dog in the country.
