Handled by Paul Catterson, “Penny” was bred by Rodney and Linda Vance and is co-owned by Larry and Carol Pagacz with Kelley Catterson. GCH Mephisto’s Speak of the Devil won Bests in Show at the Manatee and Tampa Bay kennel club dog shows. “Devlin” is a 2 ½-year-old female Boxer who is handled by Diego Garcia. Bred by Michelle and Peter Yeadon with Monika Pinsker, Devlin is owned by Pat Billhardt & Sergio Tenenbaum. She is powered by Purina® Pro Plan® SPORT Performance 30/20 Salmon & Rice Formula.
GCH Cragsmoor Good Time Charlie was unstoppable, taking home five Bests in Show from the Manatee, Clearwater, Iverness Florida and Pasco Florida kennel club dog shows. The 3 ½-year-old male Skye Terrier called “Charlie,” who is fed Purina® Pro Plan® SPORT Performance 30/20 Chicken & Rice Formula, is presented by professional handler Larry Cornelius. Bred by Eugene Zaphiris and Matthew Stander, the No. 4 all-breed dog in the country in 2014 is owned by Victor Malzoni.
In another show held by the Iverness Florida Kennel Club, GCH Sporting Fields Shameless captured top honors. “Brazen,” a Whippet, is handled by breeder Amanda Giles, who co-owns the 3-year-old bitch with breeder Dionne Butt and Jane Cooney-Waterhouse. The No. 3 Hound in the country in 2014, Brazen is powered by Purina® Pro Plan® SPORT Performance 30/20 Chicken & Rice Formula.
Capping off the two-week cluster was GCH Rainbow Splash’s Ruggedly Handsome, who won the Tampa Bay Kennel Club Dog Show. “Beckett,” a 4 ½-year-old male Brittany, is owned by Carolee Douglas, Jim and Alisa Andras, Amanda Cone and Kathy Hogan, who co-bred the dog with Elud Archuletta. Professional handler Clint Livingston handles the 2014 No. 5 all-breed dog in the country.

Kicking off the Orange Empire Dog Club dog shows with the first Best in Show was GCH Skyline’s Unit of Measure. “Cubit,” a 5-year-old male Keeshond, is handled by Jean Gauchat-Hargis, who co-owns him with Joshua Hargis and breeders Susan and Kristen Cullen. GCH Winway Ramona Quimby, a 3-year-old Whippet bitch, took home the last Best in Show of the cluster. “Ramona” is presented by by Valerie Nunes Atkinson, who co-bred and co-owns the dog with Dr. Suzi Fosnot. GCH Lockenhaus Rumor Has It V Kenlyn was the star of the cluster by capturing Bests in Show at the Griffin Georgia Kennel Club, Conyers Kennel Club and Lawrenceville Kennel Club dog shows. “Rumor,” a 3-year-old female German Shepherd Dog, is handled by breeder Kent Boyle, who co-owns the dog with breeder Pamela McElheney, Deborah Stern, and Anthony and Mary Beth Derose. Meanwhile, GCH Dawin Hearts on Fire won the Sawnee Mountain Kennel Club of Georgia Dog Show. Handled by Sarah Perchick, the 4-year-old Standard Poodle female called “Flame” is owned by breeder Linda Campbell.
